Heavy Rainfall Expected In Hyderabad: IMD Issues WARNING

Hyderabad, Aug 18 (Maxim News): Heavy rainfall is expected in Hyderabad city once again. The Meteorological Department is warning that Varuna is ready to show his might to the city residents once again. It has been said that heavy rains will occur in the city in the next few hours. It has been indicated that these heavy rains will continue for another two days.

It has been said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in all areas within the GHMC area. To this extent, officials are advising the city residents to be alert.

However, due to the torrential rains that fell yesterday, all the low-lying areas of Hyderabad city are resembling ponds. All the roads are flooded. Rainwater has accumulated at the water login points. GHMC staff are clearing the rainwater that has accumulated on the roads. Officials have revealed that the highest rainfall has been recorded in Qutubullapur, Miyapur and Serilingampally. Officials are advising everyone to be alert in view of the rains.
