Heavy Rains Across The State: Mulugu District Receives The Highest 109 MM Record Rainfall

Hyderabad, July 20 (Maxim News): Rains are lashing across the state. Streams and bends are overflowing due to the incessant torrential rains. Projects turned out to be a full pot. It has been raining since last night. However, Telangana recorded record rainfall this weekend. Officials of the Meteorological Department have warned people to be cautious as there is a possibility of heavy rains today and tomorrow.

Due to heavy rains, the low lying areas are waterlogged. Coal production has stopped in Singareni.  Vehicular movement has come to a standstill due to the flood water flowing on the roads in many areas.  Electricity supply has also stopped. Due to this, the local people are facing severe difficulties. 

According to the report of Telangana Development Planning Society, the highest rainfall was 109 mm in Venkatapuram in Mulugu district.  Rainfall is recorded.  After that 96.8 mm in charla of Bhadradri Kothagudem district.  Officials revealed that rainfall has been recorded 40 to 80 mm in Khammam, Mahbubnagar, Mahabubabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Bhupalpally, Karimnagar, Warangal, Hanumakonda districts rainfall is recorded.  (Maxim News)
