Heavy rains | Hyderabad, September 25: The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in seven districts of Telangana on Wednesday due to the development of a low-pressure area in the central-northwestern Bay of Bengal.

Heavy rains are likely in Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityala, Rajanna Sirisilla, Medak and Kamareddy. Light rains are expected in the remaining districts of the state.

On Tuesday, Devaruppula in Jangaon district received 11.5 cm of rain. Other places are Kamareddy Gudem in Nalgonda District (10.9 cm), Timmapur (9.9 cm), Saligauram (9.1 cm) in Nalgonda District, and Sarurnagar (8.9 cm) in Rangareddy District

Residents in affected areas are advised to stay up-to-date with the latest weather conditions and take necessary precautions to avoid any problems or potential hazards.
