Commuters were advised to use alternative routes and diversion plans included redirecting traffic through nearby overpasses and underpasses to alleviate congestion and maintain the flow of vehicles, a police official said.

Local businesses and residents expressed concerns over the potential disruptions caused by the bridge closure. However, officials assured that all necessary measures were in place to minimize inconvenience and ensure the safety of the public.
