Heavy Rains In Many Districts Of Telangana: Orange And Yellow Alert Issued

Hyderabad, Sept 14 (Maxim News): Telangana has been receiving heavy rains for the past few days. The state is getting soaked with incessant rains. The Hyderabad Meteorological Center has said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in five districts of the state for the next four days. It has been said that heavy rains will occur at isolated places in Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Kamareddy, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and other districts. Along with heavy rains, the Meteorological Department has warned that thunder, lightning and gusty winds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour will blow.

Orange alert has been issued for the respective districts. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the remaining areas. It has been said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in Hyderabad city from Monday to Friday. Meteorological Department officials have revealed that there is a possibility of thunder and lightning in the city. It has been said that normal rainfall will be recorded in all the remaining districts. Similarly, it has been revealed that rain will be recorded in Adilabad, Kumram Bheem, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagar Kurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba and Gadwal districts.

The Meteorological Department has said that heavy rains are likely to occur in Telangana state for the next four days due to the influence of a low pressure area. Experts predict that these rains are likely to disrupt traffic due to floods. Officials have advised the local people to be alert, as there is a risk of waterlogging in low areas. Farmers have been advised to take steps to protect their crops. The rain is expected to affect the transport system. District authorities are preparing for flood management. Water-based projects and reservoirs are being closely monitored. Although these rains have brought some relief to farmers, there is concern that excessive rain may cause damage.

Officials have warned that traffic jams and waterlogging in low-lying areas may occur in Hyderabad. People have been advised to stay at home and avoid unnecessary travel.
