Incessant showers lashed the city from the wee hours of Wednesday, with several roads and low lying areas reporting water logging.
Morning office goers and school students were the ones to take the brunt of the rains, which according to weather forecasting agency Sky met, were caused by a cyclonic circulation over Southeast Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha with a trough extending up to Telangana.
