Hyderabad, June 25 (Maxim News): Heavy rains with thunder and lightning are likely to occur in Telangana for two days, the Indian Meteorological Department, Hyderabad has revealed.
A statement said that light to moderate rains will occur in many places, Asifabad, Nirmal, Jagtyala, Manchiryala, Karimnagar, Sirisilla, Peddapalli, Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Bhadradri, and other districts are likely to receive rain today.
The IMD revealed that a low pressure has formed today under the influence of a cyclonic circulation near the Odisha-West Bengal coasts in the vicinity of Northwest Bay of Bengal. It is said to be curving towards the South-West direction as the rising lake continues up to a height of 7.6 km above the sea level. due to this effect, heavy rains are likely to occur in many districts.
On the other hand, rain has started in many parts of Hyderabad. Rain fell in Kukatpally, Hydernagar, Nizampet, Pragatinagar, Moosapet, Bachupally, KPHB, Kuthbullapur, Jeedimetla, Kompally, suraram, Shapurnagar, Chinthal, Jagadigirigutta, Malkajgiri etc. Due to this, the rainwater stagnated on the roads, and traffic was disrupted.
