Heavy Rains In Telangana For 4 More Days; 14 Districts On Alert
Hyderabad, Aug 12 (Maxim News): The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in Telangana for another four days. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for 14 districts, warning of the possibility of heavy rain on August 12.
The Meteorological Department has said that a low-pressure area is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal on August 13. The India Meteorological Department has said that due to the influence of this low-pressure area, the intensity of rains is likely to increase from August 13. It has issued warnings of heavy to very heavy and extremely heavy rains from tomorrow.
Currently, a trough along with a surface depression is continuing in the Bay of Bengal, causing heavy rainfall. On August 12, yellow alerts have been issued in Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Karimnagar, Mulugu, Hanmakonda, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, and Nalgonda districts due to the possibility of heavy rains.
Heavy to Very Heavy Rains In Hyderabad
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert as heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur in Hyderabad, Medchal, and Malkajgiri tomorrow, August 13.
After the formation of a low-pressure area on August 13, the Meteorological Department issued a red alert due to extremely heavy rains in Hanmakonda, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts. In the wake of extremely heavy rains on August 13, orange alerts have been issued for Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hyderfabad, and Medchal Malkajgiri districts.
In the wake of heavy rains tomorrow, the Meteorological Department has issued yellow alerts for Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Siddipet, and Rangareddy districts. The Meteorological Department has said that the low-pressure area is likely to strengthen further, and with this, the intensity of the rains is likely to increase further from August 14. (Maxim News)
