Heavy Rains In Telangana: IMD Issues Orange Alert

Hyderabad, July 18 (Maxim News): The Indian Meteorological Department, Hyderabad has issued an orange warning as there are chances of heavy rains on Tuesday and Wednesday across the state.

It has been said that it will continue to be heavy from Thursday till Friday.  A surface circulation with winds is expected to form over the northwest Bay of Bengal by Wednesday.

On the other hand, there is another surface circulation up to 7.6 km height over the southern region of Jharkhand.  due to the influence of these, there are indications of heavy rains as the southwest monsoon is moving actively.  On Monday it has been recorded light rainfall between 8 am to 8 pm, the highest rainfall was 1.9 cm in Mendora (Nizamabad district), 1.2 cm in Bhainsa (Nirmal), and 1.1 cm in Godhur (Jagityal).  (Maxim News)
