Railway Police conducted checks at Secunderabad Railway Station with the help of bomb and dog squads. The officials are leaving no stone unturned to ensure commuter safety. Police teams have also been deployed across religious places, tourist spots, and shopping malls. The city police urged citizens to alert authorities immediately if they notice any suspicious objects or persons. Surveillance on hotels and lodges has been intensified to track possible hideouts of suspects.

The search operations come amid rising concern that many terror-related activities traced elsewhere reportedly have links to Hyderabad. Investigative teams including the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and police from various states carried out inspections in the city. Officials have confirmed the arrest of Dr. Ahmed Mohiuddin Syed by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad in Rajendranagar on terrorism-related charges.
