High Court grants stay notices to BL Santhosh
Hyderabad, Nov 25 (Maxim News): The Telangana High Court stayed the notice issued by the SIT to BL Santosh in the farm house case till December 5.
Arguments were held in the High Court on the lunch motion petition filed by BL Santosh in the High Court today to cancel the SIT notices, Santosh’s Lawyer Desai Prakash said that the notices were not legal and argued how a notice be given under 41A CrPC. he said that Santosh is not a suspect in the farm house case, he is not even an accused. He asked the court to quash the notices issued by the police.
Santhosh’s lawyer said that he does not have faith in the SIT, which is under the control of the state government. BL Santosh is being harassed by the police in the name of notices. It was argued that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao interfered in the investigation of this case for political gain. After the arguments, the High Court ruled that the sit notices were not legal. The next hearing was adjourned to December 5.
The three accused who are in judicial remand in connection with the farm house case approached the High Court today. A bail petition was filed in the court. ACB has already petitioned the court for bail, but the judge rejected it. With this, Ramachandra Bharti, Nanda Kumar Simhayaji approached the High Court challenging the judgment of the ACB court. The court will hear the matter tomorrow. (Maxim News)
