High Court Permitted Bandi Sanjay to File Bail Petition
High Court | Hyderabad, April 6 (Maxim News): The High Court of Telangana has adjourned the hearing on the bail petition of BJP state President Bandi Sanjay, who was arrested in the Class 10 paper leakage case, to April 10.
The High Court heard the petition filed on the bail petition of the BJP legal Cell and issued notices to the respondents in this case. Bandi Sanjay’s lawyers and former MLC Ramchander Rao argued that April 7, 8, and 9 are holidays, and the High Court granted permission to file a bail petition.
On this occasion, the High Court questioned how leakage would happen when the paper was already in the public domain. the court asked that if Bandi Sanjay gets a question paper as a politician, how can he be considered guilty of that? The Court said that as an opposition leader, Bandi Sanjay has the responsibility to point out the government’s mistakes. Bandi as AI has deposed that there is any basis for the allegations leveled against Sanjay. After that, the Court clarified that Bandi Sanjay is free to file a bail petition.
Bandi Sanjay’s lawyer, former MLC Ramchander Rao, who argued on the trail of this case, accused the government of Bandi Sanjay being harassed by false cases. He requested that Bandi Sanjay be present in the capacity of the State President during Prime Minister Modi’s visit and that the lower court should be instructed to take a decision on the bail petition filed in the Warangal court today. While Bandi Sanjay’s bail petition is currently pending in the Warangal Lower Court. It if is dismissed, Ramachander Rao clarified that the Court said that the bail petition can be filed under a house motion in the High Court.
Government advocate BS Prasad heard arguments on BJP state president Bandi Sanjay’s bail petition. Bandi Sanjay is accused of being the main conspirator in the 10th-class question papers case. He said that until now Bandi Sanjay has not handed over his cell phone. He said that there is evidence that Bandi Sanjay talked to Prashanth, who is considered to be A2 in this case. BS Prasad reported to the court that he deliberately leaked the paper and conspired to blame the government. (Maxim News)
