High Tense Campaign Ends in Huzurabad By Poll

Huzurabad, Oct. 27 : The polling for the much-awaited Huzurabad (Telangana) Assembly by-election will be held on October 30 and the results would be announced on November 2. 30 contestants are in fray. High Tense Campaign comes to an ends.
The Election Commission of India issued the notification for bypolls to several Assembly and Parliament constituencies across the country including Huzurabad.
The last date for filing nominations was on October 8 and the election process will be completed on November 5, according to the schedule released by the Election Commission of India.
Huzurabad: 302 polling centres
As many as 302 polling centres have been arranged for the forthcoming Huzurabad by-election in Telangana. The election campaign will end today i.e. 72 hours before the polling.
Officials said that there are more than 1,000 voters in 47 polling centres and the postal ballot has also been set up for elderly, disabled and COVID-19 patients.
A total of 2,36,859 voters will exercise there vote in the by-election of Huzurabad assembly constituency including 1,17,768 male voters, 1,19,090 female voters, 14 NRI voters, 149 service voters, 8,246 PW voters, one transgender voter.
Among the total number of voters, 5,165 people were aged between 18-19 and 4,454 voters were aged about 80 years and above.
Huge bettings
The Huzurabad by-poll Assembly election has become one of the costliest elections in Indian history.
This election has drawn the attention of betting syndicates in India. It is said that as the poll deadline is nearing, the betting is increasing on the outcome of this Poll.
According to reliable sources, the total amount of betting till now reached Rs 100 crore.It’s not only the people of Telangana who are betting on the outcome of this election but the people of Andhra Pradesh and other states are also indulging in this illegal activity.
Secret online betting is going on as to which candidate will win this election. It is said that the total amount of betting may cross Rs 300 crore till the election day.
People from as far as Solapur, Nanded, and Mumbai are also speculating the results of this by-election and placing their bettings.The Huzurabad Assembly by-poll has become a prestigious issue between TRS and BJP.
