Himayat Sagar Floodgates Opened, Surplus Water Released Into Musi River

Hyderabad, Aug 8 (Maxim News): HMWSSB officials opened the third floodgate of Himayat Sagar at 10 am at one-foot height and released surplus water into the Musi River.

So far, the officials opened three out of 17 floodgates of the Himayatsagar reservoir.

Himayat Sagar FTL 1763.50 feet with 2.970 TMC) and present level is 1763.10 with 2.818 TMC. The inflow is 4000 Cusecs and Outflow 1,044 Cusecs. 3 gates opened for 1 feet height. (Maxim News)
