HM Reviews Hyderabad Law and Order Situation

Hyderabad, Sept. 15 (Maxim News): Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Minister for Home convened meeting with DG of Police, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad and other police officers of Hyderabad City on Wednesday at his Office Chambers at Lakdikapul, Hyderabad to review the issue of alleged Rape and Murder of a 6 years old girl resident of Singareni Colony under Saidabad Police Station limits, Hyderabad.

During the meeting, Mohammad Mahmood Ali, Home Minister enquired with the DGP, TS., Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad as to the progress of the case and about action taken for apprehending the accused in the case.

Mahmood Ali told the officers present that the Chief Minister is serious about the incident and instructed to take speedy measures to trace out and arrest the accused.

Ali instructed the officers to ensure that the accused is apprehended as soon as possible and necessary action taken as per law. During the review, while Mahmood Ali instructed the Officers to investigate the case in all angles, deploy special search teams and also give wide publicity by publishing the available Photographs, video clips of the accused through print and electronic media and also the reward of 10.00 lakhs announced by the State Government to those who give clue leading to the apprehension and arrest of the accused.

After the meeting, Ali said that Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao felt very sad about the incident and expressed condolences to the bereaved family and assured the family of extending with all the help and support from the State Government. Home Minister said that he himself feels very sorry about the incident where the life a girl of just 6 years old girl ended like this.

Mahmood Ali said that all necessary measures are being taken to see that the accused is apprehended, arrested and investigation completed promptly as soon as possible, charge sheet filed, accused tried before the court of law for punishing the accused stringently as per law in the similar lines of the case of a minor girl’s rape and murder in Warangal in which the investigation was completed speedily and accused was sentenced to death by the Trial Court in a very short period.
