Housing Plots For Journalists: CM Revanth Promises Speedy Resolution To Long-Pending JNJ Issue

Hyderabad, march 2 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has assured that the government will provide housing to all deserving journalists in the state. The Chief Minister that he would sign the relevant file within a minute if the JNJ representatives discussed with the State Revenue Minster Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and State Media Academy chairman K. Srinivasa Reddy on the allotment of houses sites related to the Jawaharlal Nehru Journalists (JNJ) Housing society.

The Chief Minister said that the fact that Srinivas Reddy was appointed as the Chairman of media Academy only without appointing a nominated chairman for any organization in the state shows how much priority his government gives to Journalists.

On Friday evening, the representatives of all newspapers and TV media who are members of JNJ met the chief Minister at the Secretariat.

He expressed gratitude for the implementation of the promise that the process of handing over the house plots allotted to JNJ will start within 100 days. The representatives told the Chief Minister that the Congress government had allotted 70 acres of land in Nizampet and Petbasheerabad to JNJ about 16 years ago.  He said that with the media academy about giving  land to the rest of the eligible journalists in the state,  they will also be given land.  He said that they have focussed on health security cards of journalists and other issues as well.  

Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, who was present at the meeting, said that he was assured that a decision will be taken immediately regarding the land in accordance with the Chief Minister’s orders. Adviser to Chief Minister Vem Narendra Reddy participated.  (Maxim News)
