Hyderabad, Aug 26 (Maxim News): A series of drug busts in Hyderabad is causing a stir. A huge quantity of drugs were seized within months. Despite the efforts of the police to eradicate drugs, it has become a big challenge for the police to catch drugs somewhere.

Secunderabad Police have seized a huge quantity of drugs in the area of Bowenpally police station. Bowenpally police seized three cell phones from the car along with 8 kg of amphetamine worth Rs. 8 crore.

The police chased the suspicious car on its way from Suchitra to Paradise and caught it on the Dairy Farm road. Nagaraju and cab driver Vinod Kumar from Gummadidal of Sangareddy district were arrested.

The police have found that there is a huge supply of drugs in the city of Hyderabad. The police have registered a case and are investigating.

Gamblers Arrested

On the other hand, the SOT police have attacked the poker players who have been playing poker on a large scale for the past few months in Jawahar Nagar of Medchal district. Khakis caught 12 accused red-handed while playing poker. Along with 12 cell phones, cash of Rs. 1,90,000 was seized and taken to Jawahar Nagar police station.  Police said the organizers of the poker escaped.  The police have registered a case and are interrogating the accused.
