Huzurabad Bypoll : Eatala Rajender Leads with 22,735 Votes
Hyderabad, Nov.2 (Maxim News): Huzurabad Bypoll results come in favour of the BJP. Etela Rajender of the BJP received 22735 votes in 20th round with 1976 lead according to reports.
Rajender got 14,618 votes by 17th round counting when he got 1423 vote majority. Reports show that in 16th round the BJP got 13,255 votes lead 1712 votes lead with 5689 votes polled as TRS got 3917 votes, Cong got 1712 votes only. Also in the 15th round, the BJP got 2149 votes majority as Rajender received 11,157 votes.
According to reports the Huzurabad voters came in support of the BJP’s EtEla Rajender and ignored the TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav. This is despite the government announcing sops and starting Dalit Bandhu for SCs empowerment in the segment.
It was the fight between Rajender and the TRS boss and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and the voters in the segment came in support of the former. There were allegations that the political parties vied to woo the voters with huge money and liquor in the segment. Also there were reports of betting on who will win and defeat in the tough fight between the TRS and the BJP.
The voters did not give support to the ruling party despite Dalit Bandhu launch and huge funds spent for development.
Rajender enjoys sympathy and support for his goodwill as usual despite changing the party. The BJP also got 2149 votes majority in 15th round with Rajender receiving 11,157 votes.
In 14th round, the BJP got 9452 majority votes with Etala Rajender getting 63,079 votes while the TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav got 53,845 votes and the Congress got just 1982 votes.
The voting percentage given by the Huzurabad segment parties wise by 14th round were put at — BJP gets 48.96 percent 43.21 percent and Congress got 1.58 percent respectively.
The TRS and BJP got votes in 13th round were 2971 and 4836, 12th round 3622 and 4849 and 11th round 4309 and 3841 votes respectively. Also the BJP got the majority of votes from first to 12 rounds and continued till the end of the rounds. (Maxim News)
