Hyderabad, Oct.2 (Maxim News): Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today sought the support of the CPM in the bypoll for Huzurnagar Assembly segment.
TDP Telangana President L Ramana made a call to CPM State Secretary T Veerabhadram and asked for the party’s support in the polls. CPM may support the TD in the polls.
The CPM leader shared his views with Ramana and said they would discuss the issue in the party and communicate the decision to the TDP.
It may be recalled that the EC has disqualified the nomination of the CPM candidate Sekhar Rao among others in fray for failing to fulfill the prescribed norms. Following this, the TDP approached the CPM for its support.
The by-election has turned prestigious for the ruling TRS, Congress, BJP and others. The CPI has already extended it’s full support to the ruling TRS. (Maxim News)
