Hyderabad CP suprise visit to Panjagutta Police Station

Hyderabad, Dec 29 (Maxim News): CV Anand Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad gave a surprise visit to Panjagutta Police Station.

The Panjagutta Police Station was inspected suddenly after taking charge as the Hyderabad City Police Commissioner, last Saturday. All sections of the police station were inspected for about 2 hours.

Complaints Reception counter, Command Control Center at Police Station, Visitors Room, Lunch Room, Women’s Help Desk, Parking, etc. He said the police should be closer to the people and the safety of women should be given utmost priority.

Later, the Commissioner of Police CV Anand IPS addressed with the media that the Panjagutta Police Station was suddenly inspected today to find out the functioning of the police. From now on these inspections will continue continuously.

Checks will be done at any time within 24 hours. He said that the workload of the police is also high. However, their performance in resolving pending cases is good. The Panjagutta police station registered about 600 cases a year. Of these, only 175 cases are pending. Only 45 NBW cases are pending.

The workload on the staff is high due to the high number of bundobust duties within this police station limits.

The CP Hyderabad recalled that the Panjagutta police station was selected by the central government in 2017 as the second-best model police station in the country. Each floor of this police station is designed to be comfortable for the public. The help desk for visitors works very well.

Effectively implementing 17 verticals in the Police station. New elements are being implemented in this police station.

All the facilities required by the staff are being provided. The program was attended by Joint CP West Zone AR Srinivas, ACP PV.Ganesh, Inspector Niranjan Reddy, and other officials. (Maxim News)
