Hyderabad CP VC Sajjanar WARNING: Strict Action For Attacks On On-Duty Officials
Hyderabad, Nov 20 (Maxim News): Hyderabad City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar has warned that strict action will be taken as per the law if officers are attacked while on duty. He said that action will be taken if government officials, including police officers, teachers and RTC staff, are obstructed in their duties.
He said that criminal cases will be registered against those involved in the attacks under sections 221, 132 and 121(1). He said that history sheets will also be opened against them. He said that once a case is registered there is a risk of darkness in the future. He said that there will be problems in issuing passports and government jobs. The CP warned that even a small mistake made in the heat of the moment will have to be regretted for the rest of his life. (Maxim News)
