Ganesh idol immersion is scheduled for September 6, the 11th day of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Meanwhile, Eid Milad-un-Nabi is tentatively set for September 5, subject to the sighting of the crescent moon.

Hyderabad Gears up

Though the exact date for the Milad procession is yet to be finalized, it may be adjusted to avoid clashing with Ganesh immersion activities, which typically begin from the seventh day of the festival in Hyderabad.

In 2024, a similar overlap saw Ganesh immersion 2025 on September 17 and Milad on September 16. Authorities then postponed the Milad procession 2025 to September 19 to ensure smooth and peaceful celebrations.

City officials and police are expected to hold coordination meetings soon to plan security and traffic arrangements, anticipating heavy turnout for both events.
