Hyderabad: Girl student commits suicide at EFLU
Hyderabad: A 22-year-old female student of the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) in Hyderabad, has died after allegedly committing suicide by jumping from a building on campus.
According to the sources, the student, Anjali, was a native of Haryana and was pursuing her MA in English at EFLU, a Central university located near the Osmania University campus.
Police were called to the scene by university authorities, and the student’s body was later taken to Gandhi Hospital for an autopsy.
The reason for the student’s suicide is not yet known, but police suspect that family problems may have played a role. An investigation is ongoing, and police are trying to determine if the student left a suicide note.
