Hyderabad: KTR Inaugurates Covid Command Centre

Hyderabad: A state-of-the-art Covid Command Centre to monitor and assist Covid-19 patients across the State was inaugurated by IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday at the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare (IIHFW), Vengalrao nagar.

The facility has been developed to assist citizens efficiently in the event of a third wave and other Covid related issues. In case of a rapid surge of Covid infections, the Command Centre also can monitor availability of vacant hospital beds and guide patients accordingly.

For the inaugural function, the Minister was accompanied by Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, Health Secretary SAM Rizvi and other senior health officials.
