Hyderabad Making Rapid Strides In All Sectors: KTR
Hyderabad, Aug.14 (Maxim News): Former minister and TRS Working President KT Rama Rao today said Greater Hyderabad was making rapid strides in all sectors.
Inaugurating JLL, a real estate consulting company at Knowledge city in Rayadurgam here today along with IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, KTR said the State Cabinet has approved the proposal to expand Metro Rail to connect Rayadurgam with Shamshabad International Airport. He also said the IT Sector in Telangana was making rapid strides as its exports have been increased to Rs 1.09 lakh crore from Rs 52,000 crore in 2004.
KTR said Hyderabad will soon surpass Bengaluru in IT Sector as the stable TRS government was helping boost IT and allied sectors. “There was no dearth for basic facilities in the city as the government was committed to provide them all. The government was getting ready with a plan to overcome the problem of drinking water in the city”, he said.
The former minister said the government will soon come up with “Look East” policy to encourage IT companies to foray into their assorted businesses. For this, the government is likely to offer subsidies and other encouragements, he said. KTR also felt the need for increasing public transport from existing 36 percent. (Maxim News)
