Hyderabad: Mayor Vijayalakshmi Distributes Health Kits
Hyderabad: Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi on Friday distributed health kits worth Rs.1 crore to sanitation workers here. The kits, which were distributed to 2,374 workers in the GHMC head office, worth Rs 4,133 each, according to a press release.

The Mayor was accompanied by deputy mayor Mothe Srilatha Reddy and GHMC officials.
“Each kit has 11 items like masks, sanitisers, soaps, shoes, raincoats etc., that are useful to employees,” the Mayor said, adding that the drive would continue till all the 5,000 workers of the GHMC were covered.
Inspections to check cleanliness would also continue, she said.
