Hyderabad: Minister KTR Launches Free Water Scheme

Hyderabad, Jan.12 (Maxim News): Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao today launched free water scheme to people in the GHMC area.

About 9 lakhs of families who draw 20000 liters a day will benefit he said.

There will be no problem for water till 2048 as the KCR government taken steps keeping the promise made during GHMC polls. he announced. With ministers Mahamoid Ali, Srinivas Yadav, CS Somesh Kumar he attended a program in Rahmatnagar area and launched free water scheme officially.

The minister recalled that when he was studying he used to see women with lots seen protesting at water board. Now that problem was addressed by our government he claimed. Despite Corona losses we have not stopped welfare schemes get said.

The government burden of about Rs 500 cr caused by the corona pandemic he said. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is for providing waters free to people as the welfare continues in the state.

There is no need of paying water bills for last December. We spent Rs 9714 cr to construct 1 lakh 2 bedroom houses for poor he added. (Maxim News)
