Hyderabad: Monsoon Emergency Teams Clearing Water Logging Points

Hyderabad, July 20: Given the issuance of warnings by the Meteorological Department, the GHMC officials have been alerted at the field level and are taking all kinds of measures without causing any inconvenience to the public. Monsoon Emergency Teams and Static Teams have been deployed in the city to remove standing water from Friday night and early Saturday morning to prevent any inconvenience to the public. The supervision of the respective authorities will continue continuously.

The officials of the respective departments are working in full coordination to avoid traffic problems. From time to time the people of the city are alerted by the warnings of the weather department. Strict measures are being taken to prevent any untoward incident due to rain.

It is known that GHMC has set up 238 static and 154 monsoon emergency teams to remove standing water at water logging points from time to time so that people do not face any problems during monsoon season. In addition, 30 Monsoon Emergency Teams by Hydra and 29 Monsoon Emergency Teams by CRMP are constantly clearing standing water at water logging points in the field.
