Hyderabad: Murder of Youth in Office of AIMIM Corporater

  • The kin of an AIMIM leader stabbed to death near the AIMIM party’s local office in Old City Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Dec 19 (Maxim News): The murder of a youth has created a stir in Hyderabad city.

Unidentified assailants attacked a young man Syed Murtuza Anas (19) the nephew of Lalit Bagh GHMC Corporator of AIMIM Mohammed Ali Sharif (Azam) office under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). The victim was rushed to the hospital and died while undergoing treatment.

The reasons for the murder are not known, the deceased was studying in a private college in Banjara Hills.

The reason for this murder is said to be a quarrel between friends. The miscreants attacked the corporator while he was in his office.

Six men attacked Murtuza together, he was rushed to the hospital as soon as he was seriously injured in the attack. He died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

On receiving information, DCP South Zone P Sai Chaitanya along with the team of Bhavani Nagar police rushed to the spot. The CLUES team was also pressed into service.

Police teams are scanning CCTV footage in the area to identify and track down culprits. Further investigation is underway. (Maxim News)
