Nala Road caves in | Hyderabad, October 23: In an incident on Wednesday early morning, a portion of the road along the nala near Chaknavadi in Goshamahal caved in. The incident triggered panic among residents and commuters.

According to local reports, the drain collapsed around 2 a.m. Fortunately, no damage was done as no one was there at the time. It is not the first such crash incident in the area, raising concerns about the integrity of the diversion and the safety of nearby residents

Officials from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) arrived at the location to investigate the cause of the road caving in.

Efforts are underway to determine what led to the collapse and to address the issue to prevent further damage. Residents and commuters in the area are urged to remain cautious as repairs and investigations continue.

Locals attribute the recurring issue to the age of the Nala, suggesting that it has become structurally weak over time. They have been demanding urgent attention from the authorities to address the problem and prevent future collapses.
