Hyderabad: PM Modi Inaugurated Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Train
Hyderabad, April 8 (Maxim News): Another Vande Bharat Express train between the two Telugu States (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) hit the tracks, here on Sturday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the semi high speed Vande Bharat Express, which will run between Secunderabad and Tirupati on Platform Number 10. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan and Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav were present at the inauguration ceremony.
The Prime Minister reached the Secunderabad Railway station and directly boarded the Vande Bharat train in which some students are travelling till Nalgonda in this train.
The Prime Minister interacted with the students there for a while, after that, the flag was waved and the train started. After the inauguration ceremony, Cheryala’s painting was presented to the Prime Minister by the Minister of Railways.
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi arrived at Begumpet Airport in a special flight at 11.30 am and was welcomed by Union Minister Kishan Reddy, Governor Tamilisai Soundara Rajan, BJP State President Bandi Sanjay, MP Laxman, MLA Etala Rajender, State Government Minister Talasani Srinivas yadav, Chief Secretary Shanthi Kumari and DGP Anjani Kumar. Modi reached Secunderabad railway station under special supervision of SPG forces from Begumpet.
Train (20701) running between Secunderabad – Tirupati leaves Secunderabad Railway Station at 6 am and reaches Tirupati at 2.30 pm.
This train stops at Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole and Nellore stations. Also, train Tirupati – Secunderabad (20702) departs from Tirupati Railway Station at 3.15 pm and reaches Secunderabad at 11.45 PM.
This train operates on the rest of the days except Tuesday. Looking at the ticket prices in this train. Secunderabad to Tirupati, Chair car Rs. 1,680 and for Executive Chair Car charges is Rs. 3,080. (Maxim News)
