Hyderabad Police Announce Ganesh Immersion Safety Measures
Hyderabad Police | Hyderabad, Sept 13 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad City Police announced key regulations on Friday in the wake of Ganesh immersion processions.
The preliminary rules to be followed on the day of immersion have been revealed.

The members of the Ganesh Utsav Committee advised to arrange the necessary vehicle to carry the idols in advance. On the day of immersion, those carrying the idols from the South Zone precincts should leave early and display the number assigned by the ACP to the vehicle.
To this extent, the Hyderabad City Police has made a key announcement on the social media platform X.
According to the terms the police released, only one vehicle is allowed per Ganesh idol.
A loudspeaker should not be mounted on the vehicle carrying the idol. No musical system with DJ is allowed on the vehicles on immersion day. Confetti guns should not be used to spray colors.
Persons under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicants are not permitted in the vehicle carrying the idol.

The vehicle should not affect the traffic while moving on the road. Do not obstruct traffic. The vehicle carrying the idol should not stop near any place of worship or on the road which may disturb other vehicles or traffic.
The movement of vehicles dependas on the orders given by the police officers depending on the situation at that time.
No one should carry sticks/knives, firearms, inflammable materials, or other weapons in the procession. Sticks used for flags or decorations should not exceed 2 feet in length.
Do not throw vermilion (colour), saffron, or gulal on the passers-by. No political speeches/provocative speeches/slogans or provocative signs or banners shall be used in the procession.

No other provocative acts shall be committed to hurt the sentiments of any section of the people. Fireworks should not be used during the procession
