Hyderabad Police Announces Major Reshuffle: 50 Inspectors Transferred
Hyderabad Police | Hyderabad, Sept. 16: In a significant administrative move, the Hyderabad City Police on Wednesday announced the transfer and new postings of 50 inspectors across various police stations and specialized units.
The orders, issued by the office of the Commissioner of Police following a meeting of the Police Establishment Board, take effect immediately.
Transfers Across Key Divisions:
The large-scale reshuffle covers a wide range of postings, including Special Branch (SB) Hyderabad, Task Force units in East and South Zones, Detective Inspector (DI) stations, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, CCS DD, CSW, IT Cell, and other crucial divisions.
Among the notable changes, Srinivas Reddy Donathireddy has been shifted from SHO Domalguda to SB Hyderabad, while Mohd. Amjad Ali moves from SB Hyderabad to SHO Domalguda. B. Jageshwar Rao has been transferred from SHO Nallakunta to SB Hyderabad, and Maruthi Prasad Kasula will now serve as SHO Nallakunta.
Similarly, Chandra Shekar Utterapalli moves from SHO Narayanguda to Task Force East Zone, and M. Saideshwar takes charge as SHO Narayanguda after being shifted from SB Hyderabad. Several other officers have also been reassigned to strengthen operational efficiency in city policing.
Aim to Enhance Policing Efficiency
The department has directed all concerned officers to report to their new postings without delay. The reshuffle also includes officers posted to Multi Zone-II on service surrender, reflecting a broader organizational adjustment.
Officials said the move is intended to streamline policing operations and ensure effective law enforcement across the city. By rotating officers across different police stations and specialized wings, the Hyderabad City Police aims to enhance administrative accountability and improve public safety.
The transfer list features officers assigned to vital stations such as Charminar, Mirchowk, Falaknuma, Abids, Sultan Bazar, Trimulgherry, Kachiguda, Chandrayangutta, Osmania University, and others. Key units like CCS DD, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, and IT Cell have also seen new postings.
This reshuffle, involving 50 inspectors, underscores the department’s continuing efforts to strengthen its force structure and maintain effective policing across Hyderabad’s diverse zones.
