Hyderabad Police Commissioner Inspected Ongoing Works In New Zones

Hyderabad: In line with the recent reorganization of the City Police, continued efforts are being made to accelerate measures to accommodate new police stations in new buildings and to acquire first-hand information on logistics and administrative issues in the field.

Following his recent visit to the South East and South Zones, the City Police Chief, Mr. CV Anand, inspected Humayun Nagar, Kulsumpura, Gudimalkapur, Golconda police stations, DCP office in South West Zone.

He also inspected the new buildings that would accommodate a few of the aforementioned PSs.

During his visit, Mr. Anand reviewed the progress of construction with the contractors and urged them to expedite pending civil works and prepare for the inauguration.

Along with senior officials, he also assessed the facilities, infrastructure, operational readiness, and amenities available for the general public at the stations.

The officers were instructed to guide visitors about the new police stations and offices and changes in jurisdictions.

Citing the dynamic nature of events in the city, CP CV Anand exhorted his deputies to handhold the officers till they settle down in their new roles.

He stressed the importance of exerting all efforts at all levels to make the new units fully functional at the earliest.

Manpower, IT infrastructure and other matters were apprised by the concerned DCPs.

Mr. G. Sudheer Babu, Addl. CP Traffic; Mr. Kiran Khare, DCP South-West Zone; traffic DCPs and other officers accompanied the commissioner. (Maxim News)
