Hyderabad Police Detain Senior Journalist Revathi Pogadadanda

Hyderabad: Hyderabad police detained senior journalist Revathi Pogadadanda on Wednesday morning over a video posted on her digital news platform, Pulse News Break.

The video featured an elderly farmer making alleged derogatory remarks against Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy during a Face-to-Face interview. The clip was later shared on social media, leading Congress party leaders to file a complaint. Police then registered a case against an unidentified ‘X’ user who uploaded the video and others involved in spreading it.

Early this morning, around 12 plainclothes police officers arrived at Revathi’s home and detained her. They also seized the mobile phones and laptops of Revathi and her husband, Chaitanya. Additionally, the Pulse News YouTube channel office was sealed as part of the investigation.
