Hyderabad, July 10: The Hyderabad Police on Thursday conducted a high level coordination meeting to review security and civic arrangements for the upcoming Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu Jatara 2026 in Secunderabad.
The meeting was held at the Viswakarma Function Hall under the jurisdiction of Mahankali Police Station and was chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Secunderabad Zone, Smt. Rakshita Krishnamurthy, IPS.
Among those present were Additional DCP J. Narsayya, ACP Ch. Sridhar, Mahankali Police Station Inspector S. Ravikumar, officials from various government departments, and members of the Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Temple Committee.
The meeting was attended by organizers of the Palaharam Bandi (offering carts), Thotela processions, welcome stage committees, and other festival organizers.
Officials discussed security measures, traffic management, crowd control, sanitation, emergency response, and other arrangements to ensure the Bonalu celebrations are conducted safely, peacefully, and without disruption.
DCP Rakshita Krishnamurthy stressed the importance of close coordination among all government departments and festival committees for the smooth conduct of the annual religious event.
She directed officials to complete all assigned responsibilities well in advance and ensure that every necessary arrangement is in place before the commencement of the festivities.
The Hyderabad Police reiterated their commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for devotees participating in the Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu Jatara 2026.
