Hyderabad Police Invites Applications For 116 Temporary SPO Posts From Ex-Servicemen And Retired Officers

Hyderabad, July 26 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad City Police has announced 116 temporary vacancies for Special Police Officers (SPOs), offering an opportunity to ex-servicemen, ex-paramilitary personnel, and recently retired police officers from Telangana to serve in a crucial support role.

The appointments will be made for temporary positions during July 2025, with the last date for submission of applications being August 5, 2025, at 5 PM.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Ex-servicemen below 58 years of age.
• Ex-paramilitary and retired police personnel who are under 61 years of age and have retired within the last two years.
• Must be permanent residents of Telangana with valid residential proof.

Honorarium and Job Terms

• Selected SPOs will receive a monthly honorarium of ₹26,000.
• These are contractual positions with no provision for paid leave.

Interested candidates must submit:

• Discharge or retirement certificate
• Aadhaar card
• PAN card
• Valid address proof
• Any other relevant service or identity documents

CAR Headquarters, Petlaburj, Hyderabad.
