- IMD Forecast Signals Early Summer in Telangana
Hyderabad: Hyderabad temperatures are set to climb to 34 degree Celsius as the city moves away from wintry conditions. The Indian Meteorological Department Hyderabad has indicated clear skies and a steady rise in temperatures across Telangana. Therefore, the long and dry summer months appear to be approaching.
Wintry conditions lasted for over three months. However, both minimum and maximum temperatures have now started to increase. According to the IMD Hyderabad week long forecast, the State will witness dry weather with no rain expected. Maximum daytime temperatures are likely to hover between 33 degree Celsius and 34 degree Celsius. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures will range from 18 degree Celsius to 19 degree Celsius.
Dry Weather to Continue Across Telangana
The forecast further observed that mornings may still see light mist or haze. However, afternoons will remain largely dry and sunny. As a result, residents can expect warmer days ahead.
The IMD New Delhi forecast for the Deccan plateau, including the Hyderabad region, also supports this trend. It stated that minimum temperatures are currently hovering near 18 degree Celsius and 20 degree Celsius. This provides only a brief window of cool air before temperatures rise during the day.
Independent Forecast Hints at Possible Rain
Meanwhile, independent weather forecasters have offered a slightly different outlook. T Balaji, known as Telangana weatherman on X, has said that maximum temperatures will remain under 33 degree Celsius. He also indicated chances of unseasonal rains and thunderstorms in a few parts of North, East and Central Telangana between February 25 and 28.
However, the IMD Hyderabad has not predicted rainfall during the week. Instead, it has pointed to a clear transition into summer like conditions. Therefore, Hyderabad temperatures are expected to rise steadily in the coming days.
Overall, the weather shift marks a clear end to the extended winter spell. With dry air and sunny skies ahead, residents in Hyderabad and across Telangana are preparing for warmer days.
