Hyderabad To Be Developed On A Fast Pace: Mayor
Hyderabad, Aug.15 (Maxim News):On the occasion of 74 th Independence Day celebrations, Mayor B Rammohan today unfurled Tricolour at GHMC premises here.
He greeted people and distributed sweets among officials and staff. The Mayor said that the city is being developed on a fast pace.
He said that the city is on growth trajectory and we have restarted historic Mojamzahi Market after renovation. Cable bridge to be started soon and beautification of roads, recarpeting is being done.
In lockdown period of three months we offered 1.36 crore free meals to poor in the city he said. We are spending thousands of crores for better connectivity, roads, infrastructure in a big way in the city he claimed. A number of roads, road over bridges, under passes, by passes being laid to improve facilities the mayor said.
Taking cue from municipal minister and his vision the GHMC is planning city development he informed. We plan to provide 300 Basthi Dawakhanas and began 225 so far.
As per the plans the city people are getting better roads, facilities and infrastructure he added. Our aim is to make Hyderabad a global destination with improved facilities and infrastructure the Mayor said.
Rammohan said that despite Corona scare and rise in cases development works are not stalled. A few more development works are in pipeline and to be made available for people he added. (Maxim News)
