Hyderabad: The Met office has predicted more rains for Telangana due to the cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal. The forecast for Telangana for next five days is light to moderate rain or thunder showers at most of the places. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning likely to occur at isolated places over Sangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Jangaon, Vikarabad, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal, Yadadri, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Khammam, Mahbubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy and Jagityal districts. Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and heavy to very heavy rain very likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana till September 23.
With the South west Monsoon also being active Telangana, very heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Rangareddy. Heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Rangareddy, Kumaram Bheem, Jogulamba Gadwal, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool districts on Saturday. Ibrahimpatnam (Rangareddy) received 13 cm, Sirpur (Kumram Bheem) 8 cm, K Agraharam-Jurala (Jogulamba Gadwal) 8 cm, Chinna Chinta Kunta (Mahabubnagar) 7 cm, Achampeta (Nagarkurnool) 7 cm, Jurala Project (Jogulamba Gadwal) 7 cm, Kagaznagar (Kumaram Bheem) 7 cm, Kerameri (Kumaram Bheem) 6 cm are some of the places that received considerable rainfall.
