Hyderabad: Traffic Restrictions In The City On Aug 15

Hyderabad, Aug 14 (Maxim News): Golconda Fort is being decorated with colorful lights for the August 15 celebrations.  On Tuesday, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will hoist the national flag at the Rani Mahal town of Golconda Fort.

City traffic Chief Sudhir Babu said that traffic restrictions will be imposed in the surrounding areas of Golconda from Tuesday morning to afternoon on the occasion of Independence Day.  He released the route map, he asked the VIPs and those who have passed to paste them on the left side of the vehicle window screens, attend in time as indicated in the invitation card, and cooperate with the traffic police.  Routes, elevating points, and parking areas have been allocated.  No vehicles should be parked on the main road in front of the houses of locals in the Golconda area.  VIPs, pass holders and people coming to see the ceremony have been asked to follow the indication boards to reach Golconda Fort.  In case of any emergency traffic helpline No. 9010203626, He suggested calling.

ROUTES FOR THOSE WITH PASSES TO REACH THE FORT

Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort route will be closed from 7 am to 12 pm on Tuesday.

Vehicles with Gold (A), Pink (A), and Blue (B) color passes will be allowed to enter Golconda Fort from Ramdevguda to participate in the Independence Day celebrations to be held from 7 am to 11 am.

Vehicles coming from Secunderabad, Banjarahills, Masab Tank, and Mehdipatnam side with gold, pink, and blue car passes should reach Golconda Fort via Rethibowli, Nanak Nagar junction, Balika Bhavan, Langar House Flyover, Tippu Khan Bridge, Ramdevguda junction, Makai Darwaja and take left.

PARKING AREAS

Holders of Gold Color “A” passes should park their vehicles at Golconda Bus Stop which is 50 meters away from Kota Main Gate.

Those with blue color ‘B’ passes should take a right turn from the Golconda bus stop and park their vehicles at the football ground.

Those with green Color ‘C’ passes should park their vehicles at Owaisi Ground from Seven Tombs, Banjara Darwaza.  However, those with ‘C’ passes coming via Langar House will reach bada bazar via Fateh Darwaza.  From there, they have to park their vehicles at the Owaisi and Baldia playground, which is 500 meters away from the main gate of Golconda Fort.

Those with red color ‘D’ passes will have to reach Golconda via Sheikh Pet Nala.  Tolichowki, Seven Tombs, Banjara Darwaja, and park their vehicles at Priyadarshini School.

Those with black color ‘E’ passes should take a U-turn under the Langar House flyover and go towards Fateh Darwaza and park the vehicles at HUDA park.

Regular vehicles coming from Sheikhpet and Tolichowki can park at Seven Tombs, from there they a board of free RTC buses to reach Golconda Fort and return after the ceremony.

To witness the celebrations – people coming to Golconda Fort are diverted through Golf Club, Jamali Dzarwaja, and Banjara Darwaja.  

Those coming from under the Langar House flyover will be diverted at Bada Bazar junction.  

AFTER THE CELEBRATIONS

After the celebrations, vehicles with gold, pink and blue passes will have to return via Makai Darwaza, Ramdevguda, and Langar House.

those with green color passes will have to go through Bada Bazaar, Fateh Darwaza, Banjara Darwaza, and Seven Tombs.

Those with red color passes will have to return via Banja Darwaza and Seven Tombs.  Those with black color passes can go from the respective parking areas. (Maxim News)
