Hyderabad Voters Can Check Live Status of Queues At Polling Stations On Nov 30

Hyderabad, Nov 28 (Maxim News): Hyderabad is set to revolutionize the voting process with the introduction of a groundbreaking initiative known as “Queue Live.” For the first time in the state the voting process is set to go live with this innovative feature incorporated into the “My GHMC” application and GHMC website, which allows voters to know the real-time information about the number of people queued up at their respective polling stations.

In preparation for the upcoming elections on November 30, all polling stations in the 15 assembly constituencies of Hyderabad district have been bought under the Queue Live feature. This development aims to provide voters with crucial information about the crowd density at polling stations, enabling them to plan their visit accordingly.

Anudeep Durishetty, the Hyderabad collector and deputy district election officer, said that a designated presiding or sectoral officer would oversee the Queue Live feature at each polling booth. These officers will update the voter count every hour, ensuring that the displayed information is accurate and up to date. Voters can access the feature by clicking on a URL link provided on the GHMC website or within the My GHMC app. By entering their constituency and polling station details, voters can view an estimated time for the completion of the queue, helping them plan their visit effectively. Furthermore, the Queue Live feature offers guidance to polling stations through Google Maps, with a convenient link provided within the app and website.
