HYDRA: Another Key Post For Ranganath
Hyderabad, Sept 3 (Maxim News): It seems that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government is going to hand over another important responsibility to HYDRA AV Ranganath. It is reported that CM Revanth is planning to hand over more responsibilities to Ranganath who is causing trouble in the hearts of the land grabbers in the center of Greater Hyderabad with huge support from people and celebrities.

It seems that Ranganath will be appointed as the Chairman of the ‘lakes protection committee’ set up for the protection of ponds under HMDA. Revanth Reddy, who says that the ponds should be protected for future generations,is being heard in the government orders that this decision has been taken to carry forward the work he has undertaken more successfully under the leadership of Ranganath.
the Telangana government hopes that the conservation of ponds in 7 districts of HMDA can be protected from encroachment if it is brought under HYDRA. As a part of this, it has been decided to give Ranganath the responsibility of the pond conservation committee along with HYDRA. Party sources say that the official announcement regarding this matter is going to be made soon.

Meanwhile, HMDA Commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmed held a video meeting with the Collectors of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, medchal -Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, medak, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri and Siddipet on Monday. The officials were advised to complete the survey, FTL and notification of ponds in 7 districts under the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Corporation. It has been ordered to issue notifications regarding FTL along with surveys of all ponds under HMDA till November 1.
Out of 3,500 ponds under HMDA, 265 ponds have been notified. He said that 50 ponds are under consideration for the first notification while this process will be accelerated from August. It is known that HYDRA is demolishing illegally built houses, offices and many structures in ponds, water resources FTLs and buffer zones around Hyderabad upto Outer Ring Road. (Maxim News)
