HYDRA Commissioner In Bangalore To Study On Restoration Of Ponds

Hyderabad, Nov 7 (Maxim News): HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath has reached Bangalore and a study will be conducted on the restoration of ponds in the city for two days. HYDRA officials went to Bangalore on Wednesday, and Ranganath reached there on Thursday. They will study disaster management along with the restoration of ponds.

HYDRA official will visit the Karnataka State National Disaster Monitoring Center at Yelahanka during their visit. A meeting will be held with the senior scientists there on disaster management. After that, they will examine the sewage system which is being monitored with the help of sensors. Visit the ponds in the core city of Bangalore. Ranganath will have a meeting with the Lake man of India Anand Malligavad on the second day of the tour. Karnataka Tank Conservation Development Authority Act 2014 will be discussed. After that, they will visit the Margondanahalli pond near Electronic City and the ponds developed by Infosys to talk about the best practices and technology implemented there. In the wake of the Telangana state government’s recent order to restore five ponds in Hyderabad city. HYDRA has accelerated the steps in that direction.  (Maxim News)
