HYDRA Demolition Cannot Be Stopped Now: High Court
Hyderabad, Oct 4 (Maxim News): HYDRA is demolishing structures built by encroaching ponds and canals in Hyderabad. HYDRA demolitions have been the talk of the town for the last two to three months.

Praja Shanti President KA Paul filed a petition in the High Court to stop the demolition of HYDRA immediately. The Telangana High Court heard the petition today (October 4). The High Court has decided that the demolitions of HYDRA cannot be stopped by now.

The Court sent notices to the respondents, HYDRA, and the state government. The High Court ordered a counter. The next hearing was adjourned to October 14.

KA Paul as a party in person has heard arguments that action should be started only after the legalization of HYDRA. The petitioner stated that 30 days prior notices should be given for the demolition of illegal structures, KA Paul asked for a stay on GO No. 99 (Maxim News)
