The HYDRA staff removed more than 20 shops. However, the traders are expressing their anger as to how they will vacate the shops within 24 hours of giving the notices. Due to this, the removal of encroachments is continuing amidst heavy police deployment.

However, there is a situation of extreme tension at the Khajaguda demolition sites. The victims have expressed their concern as to whether their structures which have been there for many years will be demolished. They are complaining that they were thrown on the road by hasty demolitions.  Despite giving notices, the businesses there did not vacate their shops. As a result, this morning, the HYDRA staff, who came with JCBs, took up the demolitions.
