Hyderabad, Nov 21 (Maxim News): Commissioner of Police, C.V. Anand said that 8,047 police constables have been trained across Telangana, including 4,100 civil, 3.695 AR, 2,028 communications, and 18 police transport.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, he said that out of this, 1,128 people have been assigned to the Hyderabad Police Department for training. Now 747 people have done Dikshat’s passing out parade, and 3081 women constables have received police training. 

In 1992, I received IPS training and there was a passing out parade. Then 80 trainee IPS participated. Even though it was raining, we completed the parade,” said the Commissioner of Police, recalling the events of that day.

He said the police personnel have to spend 35 years in the department after being trained, it is suggested that those who are trained should work with honesty and fairness. The police should obey the Constitution. He made it clear that the duty should be fulfilled in saving the lives of the people.  Police duty is stressful, he said.

The CP gave the main instructions to the police.  The police appealed to people to refrain from drinking.  He said that young policemen should be physically fit, should not succumb to any addiction, and should not become slaves. “In my 33 years of police service,  I weighed around 75 kg.  I am very fit.  I can still wear the police dress I wore in my IPS passing-out parade 30 years ago.  See how fit you are trained, Petlaburj Arm Reserve In-charge DCP Dakshina Murthy is fit.  The government will not increase the salaries of the police.  Police should not be corrupt.  Even in a job like IPS, the salaries are limited.  The salaries in the police department are slowly increasing.  A police job is like a test cricket match.  In a situation, I also want to resign and go.  CP Anand said that the trainees should bring a good name to the police department through their services.  

Meanwhile, the fourth passing out parade of constables was held at Telangana Police Academy.  DGP Jitender and senior police officials attended the program as chief guests.  The training of 8,047 Stipendiary Trainee Constables of AR, Civil,  SARCPL, IT, etc was successful.  Stipendiary Trainee Constables training started on February 21, 2024.  Training was conducted in a total of 19 training institutes in the state.  5709 male and 2338 female candidates have undergone constable training.  Trainee Constables are thoroughly trained in all aspects.  The training was conducted on many topics like civil, criminal, cyber cases,  NDPS Act,  crime, and self-defence, Constables have 5470 graduations and 1361 post-graduation.  There are 1755 technical, 5505 non-technical, and 15 law graduates.  After passing out the parade today, 8,047 constables will participate in the service of the citizens of Telangana.  (Maxim News)
