“I will do palabhisekham to KCR if he proved supply of 24 hour power to people”

Hyderabad, Nov.3 (NSS): Congress MLC T. Jeevan Reddy today said he would perform padabhisekham to portrait of CM KCR if the latter proved that he was supplying 24 hours power to the people in the State. He asserted that the State was not getting 24 hour supply power anywhere. Stating that the millers of the State were facing frequent power-cuts, he said there were no power-cuts to the millers in the Congress party rule.

Addressing media persons at his residence in Jagitial, Jeevan Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister had not fulfilled his promise of waiving crop loans of the farmers of the State. He also alleged that the State government had withdrawn all subsidies and added that it was only providing Rythu Bandhu to farmers.

Commenting on the dharani portal, he said the farmers were facing problems after the launch of the portal and demanded that the State government rectify defects in the portal. He mocked that the details of land held by CM KCR would not appear on the dharani portal.

Targeting the BJP government at the Centre, Jeevan Reddy alleged that the saffron party leaders were indulging in politics of communal hatred at the national level. He said their party leader Rahul Gandhi had embarked upon his Bharat Jodo Padayatra in order to put a full stop to communal hate filled politics in the country.

The Congress MLC also alleged that the Union government was reducing the allocations made to MGNREGS in order to dilute the entire scheme. He also alleged that the Centre was waiving off the loans of industrialists like Adani and Ambani while harassing the farmers of the country.

Replying to a question, Jeevan Reddy alleged that the State government had failed in providing proper security to the Bharat Jodo Padayatra of Rahul Gandhi. (NSS).
