Bandi Sanjay Thanked Centre For Sanctioning 13 Medical Colleges To Telangana

Hyderabad, Aug.30 (Maxim News): State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today asked CM KCR to implement Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the state to fulfill the dreams of homeless people of Telangana.

Addressing a press conference near Bapughat in the city before embarking on his third day of ““Praja Sangrama Yatra (PSY)” ,the BJP chief sought clarification from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on the number of double bed room houses constructed in the state. Sanjay pointed out that during a meeting of urban Development committee attended by him.

The state government had on record said that only 8000 double bed room houses been constructed in the urban areas of the state . He demanded CM KCR to release a list of union the beneficiaries of the state.

He alleged that CM KCR would give house pattas to some people whenever there are elections and forget about his promises after the elections . Sanjay asked KCR to extend cooperation in the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the state to provide houses to all homeless poor and downtrodden people atleast now.

Giving details of welfare schemes of prime minister Modi government, Sanjay said that the central government had sanctioned 2,03080 houses under municipal areas in Telangana state including 1.4 lakh houses in GHMC limits alone. He also said that Modi government had realsed Rs 3500 crore for the construction of the houses and Claimed that the KCR government had already utilized Rs 2285 crore out of the funds released by the central government while adding that Modi government also sanctioned and released Rs 1287 crore to GHMC for the implementation of various welfare programmes.

Sanjay wondered as to why CM KCR was reluctant in implementing central government’s Ayusman Bharat Yojana which would be beneficial to the poor people of the state. (Maxim News)
