Hyderabad, April 29 (Maxim News): TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy today demanded the State government permission to immediately include the deadly Covid 19 disease in the state run Aarogyasri scheme in order to help all the poor victims of the virus. He made it clear that it was the basic responsibility of the state government to extend efficient healthcare services to all its people.
He alleged that both state and central governments had failed in controlling the spread of the virus. Uttam, who has recently tested positive to the Covid virus and is on the recovery mode now, made these remarks in his video message posted on his official Twitter account. He thanked everybody for praying for his good health. He said that he would discharge from the hospital during the next three days.
Reddy said that they had set up Covid control rooms in all the districts of the state and at state party headquarters Gandhi Bhavan to extend help to the Covid hit party leaders and workers and the people of the state. He said that it was unfortunate that the Covid 19 victims were facing a lot of problems due to lack of medieval facilities at different hospitals of the state. (Maxim News)
